This article makes an short explanation on the causes for global heating and their consequences for the climate in the Earth and it presents the necessary demands to the sugar and alcohol mills for the presentation projects with views its classification as Clean Development Mechanisms accordingly established for Kyoto Protocol. It also makes an analysis of the possibilities to increase the mitigation of the greenhouse gases through the modernization of the production processes in the sugar and alcohol mills.
