Abstract

Conjuncture analysis has been used by researchers from different areas to speak about political processes and contribute to praxis. However, its realization has not been accompanied by a clear explanation of the references that support such studies. The aim of this article is to examine productions about conjuncture analysis to identify relevant elements to the constitution of this approach. This is a narrative review that deepens theoretical and methodological aspects about the conjunctural analysis. Connections could be noticed between the theoretical approach and the choices related to time and space that also impact the privileged subjects. This type of analysis articulates political and scientific praxis, linking a recent past which does not lose sight of the historical process and the expectations of the subjects.
