Basic income capitalism

Should the available political options for advanced capitalist countries after the breakup of the "real socialism" be limited to going back towards a laissez faire capitalism or to clinching to a welfare state like the one existing today? The author argues that there is another choice avaliable, which should be seen as the summit of the welfare state: the basic income capitalism. This proposal is expounded, examined and located in the old debate between capitalism and socialism
