From the Maximizing Commitment to the Constitutional Resilience

ABSTRACT

This article revisits the context and the political struggles during the Constituent Assembly of 1987-1988, in order to explain the characteristic traits of the Constitution it drafted and to justify why the core of its text remained preserved despite the several amendments approved throughout the thirty years of its existence.
