Nacionalismo e desenvolvimento

This paper discusses nationalism, borrowing some propositions from a philosopher who was openly and radically antinationalist, Friedrich Nietzsche. It argues that, with the exception of the rare cases of deep regional integration, nationalism is, in practice, the only route to economic development and the improvement of the standards of living of populations in the periphery of the international economy.
