A formação de mestres em administração: por onde caminhamos?

The observation of studies which present data about the professional destination of master programs from students who are already graduated, shows that the post graduation stricto sensu in Brazil has ended up favoring the graduation of professionals who work in the productive sector, but not in the academic world. Coming from this evidence, this article tries to discuss the role of the post graduation and the differences that there are, or it is, the academic graduation and the graduation to the market. In the development of the work, the first part presents a discussion about the graduation of teachers and about the graduation of the professionals to the companies. In the second part it is told the history of the post graduation in Brazil, and finally, it is described the flexibility of the post graduation strictu sensu which allowed the creation of the professional master course. In the conclusion are presented some contradictions of the system, which can be explained from the reading of official documents, that as much in the creation of academic masters as in the creation of professional master and in the evaluation done by Capes, they don't differ in the graduation to the market and in the graduation to the academic system.
