Wheel rolling on a cycloid-shaped ramp

This work is an experimental study, with some computational pratices of the rolling movement of a wheel on the plane and on a cycloid-shaped ramp. The experiment is designed and constructed where the wheel is allowed to roll without slipping. The movement of a point on the periphery of the body is filmed and the video is analyzed using the Tracker program. With the experimental data collected, the trajectory equation of the edge point is obtained and identified.
