The Teaching Plan in Medical School

Abstract:

The Plan for Teaching Policy is a document that outlines the basic definitfons of course contents, origins, motives, and objectives. lt is interesting to analyze the Policy Plan in its various roles: integrating basic theoretical content and practice; updating training, in the sense that it provides the object for reevaluations of such contents and practices,· and structuring the course by linking and consolidationg the establishment of the courses and their academic perspectives. The Plan is a vision of the future that is developed in the present and reflects on itself in the past in order to determine the paths by wich the course was established, its current status, and its direction for the future. The Plan thus fosters an awareness of the meaning of medical school courses, since it encourages the recording and qualification of their history, objectives, proposal, concepts, and underlying commitments. In addifion to observing concepts and arguments, this study therefore seeks to demonstrate one of the possible structuies in the Plan and its components and forecasts for medical school.
