The struggle for the constituent and political reform in Brazil: paths to a “constitucionalismo found in the street”

Abstract

The Brazilian political crisis, evidenced after June 2013, gives rise to new reflections to recent events. The reform of the political system is necessary and one of the ways to make it happen is through a Constituent Assembly. Especially, if noted the political and legal movements of the last 15 years in Latin America countries. It is to reflect on the moment and the possibilities of this bet basing on a “constitutionalism found in the street.”
