THE ROBERTO SIMONSEN'S POLITICAL ADMINISTRATION AND THE THIRD WAY IDEOLOGY IN THE BRAZILIAN ATROPHIC CAPITALISM

The purpose of this article is to present Roberto Simonsen's proposal for political administration as a variant of the third way ideology. For that, we used the materialist foundations of the social determination of thought that recognizes not only the concrete conditions as objective presuppositions for the ideal formations, but also underlines the particularity of the specific cases. Thus, Simonsen's ideas, extracted from his texts between 1919 and 1947, were considered based on the semi-colonial traits of Brazil at that time. The conclusions point to progressive and regressive aspects in Simonsen's proposition, stressing that the third way ideology was adapted to national conditions in the light of industrialist aspirations.
