The authors present a case report of nutrition recuperation in an undernourished child involved in the Integral Recuperation, of Undernourished Children Project at the University Hospital in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. They show the importance of nursing assistance as a member of multiprofissional team in projects of this matter.
