Abstract:

Since Nietzsche, the task of philosophy has been to make diagnoses of the present. In this article, we show how Gaston Bachelard articulated, through Nietzsche, this preoccupation with the present - typical of modern philosophy - in his reflection on the theory and method of the History of Science, in other words, we show that, through the work of Bachelard, diagnosis has become a philosophical task for historians.
